Sustainable Options
Conectiv provides sustainable options both for pressed PVC vinyl records using BioVinyl and for injection molded PET EcoRecordsTM.
BioVinyl is ISCC Plus-certified bio-circular PVC material with carbon sourced from used cooking oil versus fossil fuels. BioVinyl is identical to regular PVC in its quality, composition and performance.
EcoRecordTM records are made from PET or recycled PET replacing traditional PVC record manufacturing. This manufacturing process requires 85% less energy than PVC vinyl record pressing while maintaining the highest quality standards for sound quality and durability. Coupled with the ease and availability of recycling infrastructure for PET, EcoRecordTM cuts CO2 emissions by 42% compared to vinyl records.
