Meet Our Experts

CASH CARTER
Cash Carter has been a prominent figure in the music industry for over 30 years, starting as a drummer for The Cadets in 1994. After transitioning from performing to entrepreneurship, he opened Moon Colony Razorblade, a record store in Jacksonville, FL, where he identified the need for more U.S. record pressing plants. This inspired him to co-found Kindercore Vinyl (KCV) in 2017, gaining a reputation for quality vinyl production. Following challenges with KCV, Cash shifted to consulting, installing record presses worldwide, and working with companies like Merge Records and Outta Wax. Now at Conectiv, he leads their vinyl program, continuing his innovative contributions to the music industry.

CHARLES NELSON
After a long and rewarding career in recorded and packaged media sales and music label services, Charles joined Conectiv in June 2024. Music has always been a driving force in his life — from performing as a singer-songwriter to selling records, beginning as a teenager. Over the years, he’s gained hands-on experience across nearly every aspect of the music industry, including recording, performing, artist management, sales, and distribution. Charles is a Recording Academy member of the Atlanta, Georgia USA Grammy Chapter.
